Project Description
Executive design and revamping of the waste recovery plant in Terni
The integrated contract specified the executive design and technological interventions for the revamping of the Aria S.p.A. Company’s energy recovery plant. In order to obtain new incentives by producing electricity from renewable sources, the previous plant with its combustion line capable of energetically valorizing non-hazardous special waste with combustible value that entered operation in 2002 had to be completely upgraded. The plant fueled by PULPER (waste material from paper processing and recycling) was therefore upgraded through refurbishment, replacement, and overhaul.
The combustion line eliminates at least 12.10 t/h of primary fuel with a LHV (lower heating value) of 13,500 kJ/kg.
