Executive design, construction and operation of waste treatment and utilization plant, in Arborea

The contract stipulated designing, building, and managing the municipal solid waste (SUW) sorting and treatment plant and the valorization of sorted waste collection services in Masangionis in the town of Arborea in the Province of Oristano (OR). The plant is intended to:

• Treat and mechanically sort a total of 41,000 t/year of undifferentiated waste known as “Municipal Solid Waste;
• Treat and stabilize a total of 15,000 t/year of organic fractions from sorted waste collection known as “Wet Waste”;
• Create value for a total of 15,000 t/year of dry fractions from sorted plastic, glass, paper, and can collections.
