Single-story Building 66 in the Bacini dry docks area has now been structurally renovated and restored to its former glory. The objectives of arresting further deterioration, recovering its original features, reinforcing weakened parts with new construction and materials consistent with its nature of the building while upgrading its seismic protection rating have all been met. The non-structural partition walls were all removed in the process of saving the existing masonry, trussed roofing and skylights.
