This important order commissioned by ANAS Venice Compartment for the construction of the Rucorvo Tunnel on the Castellavazzo to Macchietto Section of Alemagna State Highway 51 also included modernizing the section above. The single-bore Macchietto tunnel has a cross-section 8.70 m high x 12.30 m wide except in the lay-by area, where it measures 9.25 x 15.90 m. The finished inner diameter is 6.65 m above the road surface x 10.10 m wide, with a 5.05 m radius. In the lay-by area, the ceiling is 7.27 m above the road with 13.60 m width.
