Completing the Oristano industrial port railway link begun in the 1970s required years of variations on the route originally planned. The latest section required bridging the S. Giovanni and Pesaria Primo and Pesaria Secondo canals, constructing 3 km of railroad siding, and laying various level crossings, as well as the additional work required for the commissioning of the first lot.
