Securing and depolluting the Port of Brindisi’s Seno di Ponente area

The port of Brindisi is both an area at high environmental risk and a Site of National Interest. Marine reclamation activities in the port’s Seno di Ponente area to restore it to the city’s socio-economic fabric included dredging the top layers of sediment and transferring the polluted dredged material for chemical stabilization and sanitization.
