September 9 marked a historic event in Europe: the loading of fuel into the Third unit of the Mochovce nuclear power plant in Slovakia.
Prime Minister Eduard Heger, the Minister of the Economy, Richard Sulik, and Project director, Robert Jordan attended.
“The significance of this milestone goes far beyond the project itself and extends to the entire nation: it represents a credible response to the challenge posed by global climate change.”
As partner in the project, Vittadello Group contributed to the plant’s completion and commissioning with various civil engineering works in both the Nuclear Island and adjacent areas and buildings (Conventional Island).
